Hello everyone,

Hope that that the school year has been treating you well so far. CSCE has
a few exciting events planned for the month of November. Take a few
minutes and check them out!

  CSCE - AFTER GRADUATION

CSCE National is holding an open house with students to determine how CSCE
National can attract new graduates to the ranks of their chapters. Hear
what advantages CSCE Membership after graduation can provide you and give
you input on what you would like to hear and see!

When:Tuesday, November 4 from 5-8 PM
Where:ENE 241
Who's Invited:All civil engineering students

  CSCE ANNUAL POPSICAL STICK BRIDGE COMPETITION

Thats right, its that time of year! CSCE Calgary Chapter is holding its
annual popsical stick bridge competition. Come mingle with industry
professionals and build a popsical stick bridge to compete for CASH
PRIZES! As a bonus, there will be an industry presentation on the Glenmore
Causeway Upgrade. Check it out!

When:Thursday, November 20 @ 5:30 pm
Where:Blackfoot Inn
Who's Invited: All Civil Engineering Students
Prizes: $120 for first, $80 for second, $40 for third
Cost: $10 per person for dinner, plus $20 per group for the bridge
submission with $15 immediately refundable if participants meet entry
criteria
