Attached is a document that advertises a presentation for undergrads
thinking of grad school. Food will be provided for anyone who shows up
for the talk. Topics include funding opportunities, the typical
work day of a grad student and preparation undergrads should think about
before entering grad school. The presentation is on Tuesday, April 8
(Today) from 5 to 6:30 pm in SA 106 for engineering students and SA 104
for science students (both seminars will be held at the same time). I
would especially encourage second and third year undergrads to come out so
that
they know what work must be done in advance to give them the best
opportunities in grad school.
