The CSCE Student Chapter would like to invite you to the WATER CENTRE
PRESENTATION AND SITE TOUR.

Who: Russ Golightly, City of Calgary

What: Presentation on the Water Centre project followed by a tour of the
building.

When: Friday, March 28 from 12:30 – 3:00 pm.
Where: The Water Centre – Spiller Road and 25th ave SE.
Cost: Free for CSCE Members!

Russ Golightly is one of The City of Calgary’s top green project managers
and is responsible for the design & construction of the City’s next
landmark – the Water Centre. Russ will be presenting on the many elements
that came together to create a building which reflects sustainability in
design, construction & a life-cycle mindset.

The presentation will include describing & discussing the observations of
the architect, contractor and building owners about the unique design
characteristics, the best parts of the building, what was missed and what
could have been done better. The Water Centre showcases how LEED is a
great measurement tool and not a barrier to great design.


**Transportation will be provided if necessary. Safety equipment is not
