Engineers Without Borders (EWB) has some events coming up and you’re invited!



Opening Year Meeting Tuesday, September25    6:00-7:00pm  ST 141

Come learn what EWB does on campus and around the world. Find out how you
can get involved with Human Development. Learn about volunteer
opportunities in Canada and Overseas.  Free pizza and pop



SWAT Team Opening Meeting Thursday,September 27 6:00-7:00pm  SB 142

The SWAT Team is a group of dedicated and passionate individuals who work
together to achieve tasks for EWB. If you are interested in increasing
leadership, public speaking, and organizational skills and volunteering
with a great organization join us for some food and refreshments.



Commissioners Positions

EWB is also recruiting commissioners who have a number of different roles
within the U of C Chapter. If you are looking to really get involved and
learn lots please apply for one of the positions described in the attached
document. Come to the Opening Meeting or email ucalgary at ewb.ca for more
information about applying. Applications are due October 1.



Member Education Modules

Our weekly Member Education Modules start Monday October 1 at 5pm in ICT
116. These are a great way to learn about a variety of topics concerning
EWB and International Development.
