[Engg-enci-l] TO ALL THIRD AND FOURTH YEAR ENGG STUDENTS

We are now accepting nominations for the Student and Professor Awards
which will be
presented at the Third Annual Third and Fourth Year dinner on November 7,
2007.

The Professor Awards will be given to one professor from each department
who has
shown excellence in their teaching abilities and pass on their enthusiasm for
engineering to students.

The Student Leadership Award will be given to a student who has shown
leadership and
engineering spirit during their academic years at the University of
Calgary. Award
selection will be based on their contribution to the Schulich School of
Engineering
through extracurricular involvement on campus and in the community if
applicable.
This Award is open to all 3rd year, 4th year, and Internship engineering
students at
the Schulich School of Engineering.

Applications are due by Wednesday October 17th and can be dropped off at
the ESS
temporary office (ENB 103) or emailed to ess at ucalgary.ca
