INTRODUCING YOUR NEW ON-LINE STUDENT EXPERIENCE!

U of C is introducing the PeopleSoft Student Centre - a dynamic,
interactive, web-based way to offer online student services.

Important! Read on to find out how this affects you!

1) Service Interruptions
- Moving Days: Thursday, February 1 at 6:00 pm through Tuesday, February 6
at 8:30 am
- Moving every student record to a new system is a big task. As a result,
online student services will be interrupted. The impacted services are:

InfoNet
InfoNet will be retired on Thursday, February 1 at 6:00 pm. The services
normally accessed through InfoNet will be unavailable from Thursday,
February 1 at 6:00 pm until Tuesday, February 6 at 8:30 am while we transfer
data to the new PeopleSoft system. The PeopleSoft Student Centre will
replace InfoNet on Tuesday, February 6 at 8:30 am when you may begin
accessing the new system.

In Person Service
- Friday, February 2 and Monday, February 5
- Advising and student service areas (including Service Stop) will offer
limited service during this service interruption.

Transcript Requests
- Transcripts can be requested through the InfoNet until Wednesday, January
31 at 12:00 pm.
- Transcripts can be requested in person at the Service Stop (MLB 117) until
Thursday, February 1 at 4:30 pm.
- Transcripts will be unavailable online or in person from Thursday,
February 1 at 4:30 pm until Tuesday, February 6 at 8:30 am

2) Service Delays
Over 800 staff are being trained in the new system. We are counting on your
support for:
- Patience: Please be patient as staff learn to navigate in the new system
with you.
- Planning: Plan ahead and allow extra time for staff to assist you. Expect
service delays and longer line-ups.

I have questions; I need help!

Follow your usual channels to seek advice, whether its the Service Stop,
your faculty office, or your department office. Please keep in mind though
that all of this is new to staff as well, so they may not be able to
immediately help you.

Drop-in Computer Lab
For assistance navigating the PeopleSoft Student Centre or for registering
for Spring/Summer classes visit MacKimmie Library Link room 101 & 102. Here
you'll find a computer lab with students and staff able to help you!

The hours of operation are:
- Monday, February 12: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Tuesday, February 13: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Wednesday, February 14 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Thursday, February 15 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Friday, February 16 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
