[Engg-enci-l] Very Important 2yr Registration information

Very Important Information on 2yr Groups:

(If you have registered in or received credits for all of the required
fall and winter courses for your program please disregard this e-mail).

For students who need a complete group and  have registered in  Group A1
or Group A2 Fall  or  Group A1 or A2 Winter and cannot get in to all of
your required courses please note the following information:


If you  need Phys 369 and have registered all of the other courses within
Group A1 or A2:
Phys 369 L1 and L2 are full and space will not be opened so please do not
sign up for the waitlist.

There is lots of space in Phys L3 & L4 but they will not fit with Group A1
or Group A2 therefore we ask you to  re-arrange your fall courses
following the Group B1 Fall and Group B2 Fall sections.  Please see the
group listings attached.

If you require any other course in Group A1, A2 fall or A2, B2 winter and
the class is full  you will need to select either Group B1 or B2 in order
that you will have a complete timetable.


*Keep in mind that it does not matter which group you are in but it is
very important that you take all of your required courses.  Each student
is personally responsible for the continuing completeness and accuracy of
his/her course registration.

To ensure that you get registered  in all of the required courses when you
change a block the Undergraduate Studies office will help you with the
group change.   Please contact Sandy Thompson at thompsos at ucalgary.ca or
Suzanne Dauner at dauner at ucalgary.ca and inform them that you need to
change to Group B1 or B2 Fall or Group B1 or B2 Winter and they will help
you.

Please be aware that if students do not voluntarily  select another group
the Undergraduate Studies Office  will have to manually move students for
load balancing purposes.
