Engineer in Training - Opportunities at the National Energy Board (NEB)
The National Energy Board (www.neb-one.gc.ca) located in Calgary, is
seeking to hire a number of graduate engineers, from the main
engineering disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, and
Materials Science. The NEB regulates Canada's inter- provincial and
international pipelines and international power lines. Our regulatory
priorities, with respect to engineering, are public safety and
protecting the environment.
NEB engineers contribute to technical oversight for the complete life
cycle from design review to facilities abandonment. We conduct regular
inspections of facilities across the country, perform integrity and
public security audits, participate in forensic reviews of accidents and
incidents, as well as consider applications for new construction or
modifications to existing facilities.
The National Energy Board is part of the Federal Public Service, and as
a recent graduate, you will find its pay scale and benefits are
competitive. We encourage and support life long learning plus and
provide a friendly, collegial work environment. If you are interested in
