To all Civil Engineering students,

NATIONAL PRECAST DAY
Thursday, October 5, is National Precast Day. Lafarge is hosting an open
house of their facility. Safety equipment will be provided but is limited,
so please bring your own safety boots and hard hats if possible. Snacks
will also be provided. Transportation to the plant is available for large
groups of students, so make sure you RSVP today!
Where: 9028 – 44th St SE Calgary
When: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5, between 9:30 and 2:00 pm

Con-Force is also offering tours of their facility on National Precast
Day. Con-Force has hard hats available, but you will need to bring your
own protective footwear and arrange for transportation to the plant.
Where: 4300 – 50th Ave SE Calgary
When: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5, tours held between 8-12pm & 1-3pm

FOOTHILLS HOSPITAL SITE TOUR
A site tour of the Foothills Hospital project is available to the first 20
people who sign up. (A second tour will be arranged if more people are
interested). Please be prepared to bring your own protective footwear and
hardhat.
Where: Meet in the fourth year home room at 3:30pm
When: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18, tour starts at 4pm
