Dear U of C Faculty/Staff Members and Students,

Join other U of C staff and students on March 30, 2006 in a province wide Cancer
head-shave fundraiser.

Cancer has overwhelmed today’s society. It is hard to ignore the fact that one
in three Canadians will develop cancer, and that it will be the cause of death
for one in four.

This will be the fourth annual head-shave event.  To date, we have raised over
$175 000, with the help of 300 participants.  Our goal this year is for the U
of C to raise $50 000, with all proceeds going to the Alberta Cancer
Foundation.

With the event fast approaching, we are looking for individual faculty, staff
and students to sign up today to collect pledges to lose their locks.  MRC, U
of C and U of L are working together in a friendly competition.
