As school is coming to a close, there is one more important thing that
 students can take part in to ensure that next year can go as smoothly as
 this year.  Some of you may know that we are in the process of picking a
 new Dean for the Schulich School of Engineering.  Below is some
information that is relevant if you would like to be involved in this
 process as is comes to a close.

The candidates for the Dean of the Schulich School of Engineering will
 be giving public presentations to the University community during their
 interview process.  Each of the candidates will be discussing the
 opportunities and challenges facing the Schulich School of Engineering
 in the twenty-first century.  There will be a question and answer period
 following the presentations.  All of the presentations and question &
 answer periods will be from 3:00-4:15 pm in Engineering E 243.  The
 candidates and dates of the presentations are below:

Dr. Elizabeth Cannon, Head
Department of Geomatics Engineering
Monday, April 24, 2006

Dr. Nigel Shrive, Killam Professor
Department of Civil Engineering
Wednesday, April 26, 2006

I urge students to attend these presentations and not to hesitate to ask
 any questions they feel relevant or are pondering.  There will be
 evaluation forms available at the presentations that can be handed back
 into the Selection Committee for review.
