Would you like to spend a month this summer in HONG KONG?


Hong Kong Polytechnic University is offering their
*Summer School on Chinese Language & Culture once again.*
Participants take lessons in Putonghua (Mandarin) and an Introduction to Chinese Civilization and can 
*earn 1 or 2 complimentary studies credits.*

The program takes place from* July 3 to July 28 *with an optional study 
tour in Beijing following in the first 2 weeks of August.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS APRIL 12, 2006
(applications must be submitted to Dr. Shelley Lissel, sllissel at ucalgary.ca)

Costs for the 4 week program are approximately HK$4500 (~CDN$700) + 
tuition at the U of C for credits earned.
The cost of HK$4500 (~CDN$700) includes:  accommodation, food, visa, 
public transport, insurance, teaching materials, coach fee and activity 
fees, but does not include flight to Hong Kong.
