Attention All Engineering Peaceniks
The deadline for the new Schulich School of Engineering Student
Activities Fund is 23 December 2005.
I would like to encourage any and all students who are interested in the
use of engineering and technology for peaceful means to consider forming
a student chapter of Science for Peace. Science for Peace is a
Canadian-based international organization dedicated to peace, justice
and making an environmentally sustainable future.

Please visit
http://www.schulich.ucalgary.ca/SSAF/
for more information on student organizations eligible for funding. The
criteria are not onerous. Science for Peace has expressed interest in
helping setup a student chapter and to suggest activities that promote
peace.
We need one or two students who are willing to lead this initiative and
I am willing to offer whatever support I can to get this group started.
Please respond to me if you are interested.
cheers
M.J.Collins
