Just to let any of you interested know that the book I co-wrote with artist Pip Dickens about painting-music, Japanese crafts and their influence on a series of paintings and audio we made together entitled 'Shibusa  - Extracting Beauty' is now available for free as an open access epublication at

It is a beautiful book and features many full colour plates of Pip's beautiful work.
