The Center for Electronic Music of China (CEMC) and the Electroacoustic Music Studies Asia Network (EMSAN) are glad to announce the Fifth EMSAN/CEMC Day symposium. 

It will be held during the Musicacoustica Festival, CEMC, Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, China.

Communications can be made in any language. The text of the communication will then be published in its original language on the EMSAN Web site, in PDF format, in the peer-reviewed symposium proceedings.

MAIN THEME

BEYOND LIMITS

Electroacoustic music, in all its forms, see their boundaries pushed back further each day. If tradition exists and offers indispensable tools for the education of composers, new technologies shake up knowledge. New forms appear: they connect work on sound with gestural control, Internet collaboration, interaction between musician and machine, image, sound... Which experiments and experiences can be presented, in order that this symposium is able to present an overview of these advanced forms of music in Asia?

 Abstracts should be sent to marc.battier at paris-sorbonne.fr and  zhangxiaofu at 263.net, before 30 SEPTEMBRE 2012, with a bio and a CV.

Le Center for Electronic Music of China (CEMC) et le Electroacoustic Music Studies Asia Network (EMSAN) sont heureux d'annoncer le 5e Colloque EMSAN/CEMC Day. 

Il se tiendra le 25 octobre 2012 pendant le Festival Musicacoustica, au Conservatoire Central de Pékin, Chine.

Les communications peuvent être faites dans n'importe quelle langue. Le texte de la communication sera ensuite publié dans sa langie originale sur le site Web de EMSAN, en PDF, dans les actes du colloque avec un comité de lecture (peer-review).

THEME PRINCIPAL

DEPASSER LES LIMITES

La musique électroacoustique voit ses limites dépassées chaque jour un peu plus. Si la tradition existe et fournit des repères indispensables à la formation des compositeurs, les technologies nouvelles bousculent les connaissances. De nouvelles formes appraissent: elles marient le travail du son avec le contrôle gestuel, la participation par Internet, l'interaction entre musicien et machine, l'image, la danse, le son... Quelles sont les expériences qui peuvent être présentées, de sorte que le symposium fera l'état de ces avancées en Asie?

 Les résumés des communications seront envoyées à l'adresse marc.battier at paris-sorbonne.fr ET zhangxiaofu at 263.net, avant le 30 SEPTEMBRE 2012, accompagnés d'une bio et d'un CV.
