Organized by Asia Computer Music Project and the Japanese Society for
Sonic Arts (JSSA) in cooperation with Tokyo Denki University and under
the auspices of ICMA Asia/Oceania region.

Call for Papers
The Third Asia Computer Music Project (ACMP) will be held at Tokyo Denki
University, Kanda Campus, from December 16-18, 2011. ACMP was
inaugurated in 2010 as a joint event between Korea and Japan. This
project originated from an ICMA regional event with the goal to promote
mutual understanding between computer music composers and computer music
researchers in/of Asia. Therefore ACMP events always comprise of both
concerts and research presentations.

Suggested paper topics include but are not limited to:
Theories of music composition
Pitch theory
Compositional aesthetics
Music history
Music criticism
Music perception and cognition
Music emotion
Music sociology
Algorithmic composition
Sound synthesis
Musical systems
Robot music
Musical interfaces, new musical instruments
Auralization and mapping
Spatialization and diffusion
Asian music
International conference reports

Submission of papers
Authors are invited to submit either two-page or four-page papers
including figures, tables, and references. All papers are to be
submitted electronically, using the submission form provided below. The
review process will also be handled electronically.
