[Emsan-l] Le guide des objets sonores - Guide To Sound Objects

I am pleased to announce that the long-awaited publication of Michel  
Chion’s ‘Guide des objets sonores’ in English by John Dack and  
Christine North can be found on the ElectroAcoustic Resource Site  
(www.ears.dmu.ac.uk). Click on Online Publications and the individual  
chapters are downloadable as pdf files.

On behalf of the entire EARS team, I would like to congratulate John  
and Christine on the completion of this very challenging task. They  
have offered the anglophone world the first large-scale translation  
related to Schaefferian terminology and have called in several  
specialists to help with some of the most difficult translation  
decisions.
