As the codirector and founder of SoundCrawl:Nashville, I wanted to  
extend an invitation to your members to join us in opening up the  
Music City to the electroacoustic music world. Please see the  
following invitation/call for submissions to the event to be held on  
October 3, 2009 and please forward on to your membership for their  
consideration. We are very interested in having a global presentation

Calling all electroacoustic composers, audio artists and sound  
designers-

Call: all composers, no restrictions
Deadline: Aug 15, 2009 (receipt)
Fee: none
Prize: performance at festival

SoundCrawl:Nashville is pleased to announce a CALL for Works, in  
advance of the forthcoming inaugural SoundCrawl:Nashville. The  
SoundCrawl will take place October 3rd, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee.  
All entries must be received no later than 11:59pm August 15th, 2009.  
The call is open to all composers and sound artists, of any age and  
all nationalities. Works may be in any form or length, but preference  
will be given to stereo works and those under seven minutes. Works  
featuring more than two channels are encouraged to contact the  
festival beforehand at crawl at soundcrawlnashville.com.

Submissions may be emailed to crawl at soundcrawlnashville.com, or  
snailmailed (in DVD, CD, or data-cd/dvd featuring .wav or .aiff  
formats) to SoundCrawl, 1906A 19th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37212.

Every Submission must include the following: name/address/phone, a  
brief biographical sketch, a brief program note about the work  
submitted, and a detailed account of the software and processes used  
in creating the work (i.e. Cubase 7.0, with a Korg xyz controller &  
an AKG xyz microphone; live flute by John Doe; samples from FL  
studio, etc..).

Multiple submissions are encouraged, but each must be accompanied  
with a program note & software/processes list.
