Besides the book project, scheduled to be published in its English version in the United States by EMF Media, I've got some news on the other project, the publication of an issue of a periodical. There has been a very positive answer on the part of Contemporary Music Review, with which I already had the opportunity of working when I guest- edited an issue on the esthetics of live electronic music many years back. Contemporary Music Review, with journals such as Organised Sound, for instance, is highly regarded for its topical issues on various aspects of contemporay music. As it happens, they are preparing another issue on Asia, but from the perspective of instrumental music. Our issue will be devoted to electroacoustic music. So we now have this to discuss when we meet in Beijing on October 28, 2009.
