Chacmool Members,

 

First off, we would like to welcome Brandon Horrell as the new Social
Coordinator for Chacmool! He currently is sitting as director of events with
the British Club, so he has experience planning and organizing events. He
hopes that we as a club can offer a variety of activities that reflect the
diverse interests of those in the club now and in the future. We look
forward to having you on the exec team next semester, Brandon!

 

The Gingerbread competition is this Tuesday at 5 pm in ES 859. There is 4
great teams signed up and we cannot wait to see what you have in store. Each
team will receive two sheets of gingerbread, with some icing and candy. If
those teams would like, they can bring their own candy and whatever else
they would like to use for construction. We will provide some utensils for
decorating but it is up to you to bring anything extra you might need. You
can even bring your own candy. Remember, all competitors must pay $5 to
cover the cost of gingerbread.
All Chacmool members, Kula members, and DEST members are welcome to attend
and watch. Building will start at 5:15 to make sure everyone is present and
will go until 7 pm when teams must be completed building.

Prizes will be given to the top teams!

 

With the Gingerbread competition as our last event of the semester, we hope
that everyone has a great holiday and is prepared for their exams.
