Greetings Chacmoolians,

 

Just a few quick updates.

 

First, the proceedings of the 42nd Annual Chacmool Archaeology Conference
(Identity Crisis: Archaeological Perspectives on Social Identity) has been
published. It was edited by Lindsay Amundsen-Meyer, Nicole Engel and Sean
Pickering. The volume is $30 regular price and can be purchased from the
Chacmool office. If you're interested in buying a copy, please send an email
to us at chacmool at ucalgary.ca

 

Second, a reminder that Chacmool is hosting an Archaeology Board Game night
on March 15 at 5 pm in ES 859. Come out and get your nerd on, then head to
the pub with us after.

 

Third, another reminder that the time for summer employment is upon us! The
Archaeology Career Fair is on April 9th, from 10-12 pm in MSC 115 (That
Empty Space). It's free and open to all, and Chacmool will be providing the
coffee and snacks. Come talk to potential employers in Cultural Resource
Management and Heritage fields!
