[Chacmool-l] Upcoming Events & Arky Career Fair

Greetings folks,

Three upcoming events to notify you of.

1. There will be an one hour presentation on the Jordan Bronze and Iron
Age excavations of the Madaba Plains Project - Monday March 14th at 4 pm
at Mount Royal - East Arts 2031. Everyone is welcome, and anyone who is
thinking about coming to Jordan in summer 2012 should come to the
presentation to learn about the project and some of the research that they
have been doing.

2. Chacmool is hosting an Archaeology Board Game night on March 15 at 5 pm
in ES 859. Come out and get your nerd on, then head to the pub with us
after.

3. The time for summer employment is upon us! The Archaeology Career Fair
is on April 9th, from 10-12 pm in MSC 115 (That Empty Space). It's free
and open to all, and Chacmool will be providing the coffee and snacks.
Come talk to potential employers in Cultural Resource Management and
Heritage fields!

Bring your polished résumé to hand out! If you need help refining yours,
check out the Résumé Rescue hosted outside of Career Services (MSC 188)
every Wednesday from 11-1 pm.
