Title: The Dubuc Topos

Abstract: In this talk we introduce synthetic differential geometry, a topos-theoretic approach to differential geometry. We use the sheaf theory developed in the previous seminars to construct the Dubuc topos, and show that the category of smooth manifolds has a well behaved embedding into the Dubuc topos. Possible adaptations of this theory to other topological rings will be discussed.
