We will have a peripatetic seminar this Friday:

Speaker: Priyaa Varshinee Srinivasan
Title: A resource reflecting functor to characterize majorization
When: Friday 18 November, 2016
Where: ICT 6th floor -- in the theory reading library

Abstract: We will introduce partitioned symmetric monoidal categories,
and two examples: stochastic matrices and a category
that captures majorization.  We will then introduce the concept
of morphism of partitioned symmetric monoidal categories, and show
that there is a functor from stochastic matrices to the  majorization
category
that reflects free resources.
