The Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta invites applications for a Term Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) Instructor to teach Organizational Communication in the Master of Arts in Communication and Technology (MACT) program.<br>
<br>
Key details:<br>
<br>
- Appointment: September 1 – December 31, 2026 (4 months)<br>
- Format: Fully remote; online and asynchronous<br>
- Program: MACT (professional graduate program for experienced practitioners and managers)<br>
- Role: Teach a graduate-level course grounded in communication and organizational theory, support professional students, and assess applied coursework<br>
- Eligibility: Open to all applicants; internal candidates and former U of A employees receive priority consideration<br>
- Salary: Commensurate with experience, per AASUA Schedule D<br>
<br>
Applicants should have strong expertise in organizational communication (PhD preferred; Master’s with substantial professional experience considered) and experience teaching at the university level, ideally online.<br>
