<p style="margin:0px"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif;color:black">We are happy to announce that submissions are open for the Intersections | Cross-Sections (ISCS) 2026 Graduate Student Conference & Art Symposium! Hosted every year by students in
the Joint Graduate Program in Communication and Culture at York University and Toronto Metropolitan University, ISCS is geared towards giving graduate students an opportunity to share their work and learn about exciting scholarship across disciplinary and
institutional boundaries.</span></p>
<p style="margin:0px"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif;color:rgb(36,36,36)"> </span></p>
<p style="margin:0px"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif;color:black">This year's theme is "<b>Currents of Change: Media, Activism, and Cultural Transitions.</b>" We hope students will engage in broad interpretations of this theme, allowing for discussion
of how different forms of media facilitate change at levels cosmic, microscopic, and everywhere in between. Presentation proposals may be for a research paper or for artwork/research creation, and we welcome submissions from graduate students in any discipline
so long as their work connects to the study of media and culture. </span></p>
<p style="margin:0px"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif;color:black"> </span></p>
<p style="margin:0px"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif;color:black">The date for this year's conference is <b>March 13, 2026.</b> It will take place at <b>80 Gould Street, TMU Campus, with options for remote presentation</b>.<b> </b>The deadline to
