The School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University invites applications from qualified candidates for a 12- month Term Position appointment in Journalism at the rank of Instructor I or II (depending on qualifications) beginning July 1, 2019.
The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, such as the multimedia portion of the graduate-level introductory reporting workshop; the second-year undergraduate digital toolkit lecture/lab; and, the second-year undergraduate reporting fundamentals course. Teaching may also include courses involving specialized writing, audio or video journalism. The successful candidate will participate in shaping course-specific curricula and will contribute to the School through involvement with special student-centred events and projects. There are no research expectations associated with this position.
