Hey Clubs!

We would like to extend you and all your members an invitation to the Euro
Cup, UofC's biggest soccer tournament, which is happening THIS Friday at
5pm on the fields by Olympic Oval. It's a great club initiative so we would
love to have you stop by and even if you don't play, it's a great event to
come watch! There is also an after party at the Black Lounge if that's more

*Wondering what the Euro Cup is? Well here is our pitch for you...*

Missing the atmosphere from this summer's World Cup? Don't worry, we got
you because this fall, The UofC European Council will be hosting our annual
Euro Cup, UofC's biggest soccer tournament! The Euro Cup will be happening
outdoors on the fields by Olympic Oval with 7 of UofC's cultural clubs
participating with teams! Everyone is invited to come watch the action from
the sidelines! There will be music, half time performances and live soccer
entertainment!

National anthems will commence at 5pm and kickoff will follow directly
after. After the final games, the award ceremony will begin and the cup
will be presented to the winning team.

After the award ceremony, clubs will be heading over to the Black Lounge for
the after party to toast the winners and/or drink away their sorrows (there
will be soccer themed shots on special in case your team did particularly
bad) Tickets for that will be $5 and we will be selling them at the Euro
Cup itself for $5 or they will be available at the door for $10.

You must be a member of one of the participating clubs to play so sign up
to one of these 7 European Council clubs during clubs week to join one of
the soccer teams.
