>From Laura with the Calgary Meal Exchange:

Meal Exchange is a student led charity on campus that fights local hunger and food insecurity. On
October 31st, we are hosting our fifth annual "Trick or eat"! During this fun event, students dress
up in costume and go trick or treating - just like they did when they were kids. The only difference
is- instead of collecting candy, they collect non-perishable food donations. All of these donations
are donated to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank and the SU Campus Food Bank. Our goal this year is
to get 500+ participants, $5000 in online donations and 7000 lbs of food. Interested students can
register as individuals or as a team and we will have prizes for top fundraiser, group costume and
individual costume (male and female). Since you are already a team, it would be great if you rallied
your team together and came out to participate in a great cause! The event begins at 4pm and wraps
up by 8pm so it isn't a huge time commitment but does make a huge difference to people in need! We
are also hosting a flyering event on October 26th from 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm. This is where we go out
into the communities and deliver flyers door to door to get people excited and let them know that
Trick or Eaters are coming their way!

If this sounds super exciting to you and you would like to sign up, visit http://www.trickoreat.ca,
