[SU CLUBS] Resource Fair Invitation

Hi there!

 

My name is Hope Bruce and I am the Orientation Communications and Events Assistant for the Office of
Leadership and Student Engagement. I would like to invite you to this year's Resource Fair on
Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 during Fall Orientation Week. 

 

Key Details: We are holding the Resource Fair outdoors in the TFLD Quad area. If the weather does
not cooperate, we will be in MacEwan Hall. Each club will be responsible for half a table and must
have a representative at the table from 12-4pm. Setup will take place from 12-1pm.

 

Sustainability: As year's theme "Impact" focuses on environmental sustainability, we are trying to
keep Orientation Week as waste-free as possible. Please try to keep any swag or giveaways recyclable
or waste-free, and consider the amount of paper products you are giving away.

 

Interactivity: We encourage your club to include some sort of interactive game or activity for
students to participate in. Examples of past activities include free bike tune-ups, yoga lessons and
contests. Please let us know what you would like to do, so we can help accommodate your space
requirements. As always, handouts, swag and prizes are always appreciated by students!

 

Display Requirements: We ask that there are no electrical requirements for your display, as there
will not be any electrical sources available outside. Also, all display content and pamphlets will
be reviewed for appropriateness of material.

 

Someone will sign off on the material the day of the Resource Fair, after set up has taken place at
1pm.
