Hello clubs!

 

Have you considered competing in this year's Frostbite?  Frostbite is the U
of C's official winter games, January 21 to January 25. Throughout the
course of a week, teams of 8 to 10 students will compete in a series of
outdoor and indoor challenges campus wide to earn points for sweet prizes
and for serious bragging rights on campus. The team who earns the most
points at the end of the week will win the coveted Frostbite Cup and a
winter ski vacation for the team.

 

Frostbite is open to undergraduate or graduate students at the U of C, and
clubs have made up some of the best teams in the past.  This is a great
bonding experience for your members and/or executive and can really get the
new year off to a good start!

 

Teams must register by December 14th.  You can download the registration
form at http://su.ucalgary.ca/frostbite. Teams will also be required to pay
a small registration fee ($50).  

 

There will be two Frostbite information sessions, one tomorrow (December 7)
and one on December 14.  Both will be held in The Loft (fourth floor of Mac
Hall) and will start at 4:30.  Swing by and get more information.  We'd love
to see clubs represented big time in this year's competition!
