Message-ID: <021201cdac89$71b2e960$5518bc20$@ucalgary.ca> Good Afternoon Club Executives, There are changes coming to MacHall. Recently the university put forward a plan calling for the redevelopment of MacHall that would affect students and student groups. Your Students' Union is conducting a large scale consultation to make sure students' priorities are reflected in the future of MacHall. The recommendations arising from our consultation will be critical to ensuring that the long term redevelopment plan reflects what students want to see in their student centre. The SU is also using this consultation opportunity with clubs to discuss ideas on how we can improve the SU's club space over the coming year. So be prepared to discuss both the long term and short term interests of your clubs. We're holding a limited number of brief focus groups to reach out to specific student groups and student leaders. If you have not already received an email with a specific focus group time, we would like to have you out to either one of the two focus group sessions. We have 1 space for a representative from your club at one of the following sessions. Spaces are limited, so spots will be on a first come, first served basis. The two open focus group sessions are currently scheduled for November 13th from 3 to 4 PM and November 14th from 1 to 2 PM in the Council Chambers (across from the information both by the elevators in MacHall). Please RSVP for yourself by sending an email to rsvp@su.ucalgary.ca and specifying your session time/date. After the first two open sessions fill, if we receive enough interest, we will schedule additional open sessions. If you are RSVP #51 or over, we will email you to let you know when additional sessions may be scheduled.
